استراتيجية مقترحة لتحسين القدرة التنافسية لبرامج الدراسات العليا بجامعة الملك خالد على ضوء الاعتماد البرامجي

هدفت الدراسة إلى تقديم استراتيجية مقترحة لتحسين القدرة التنافسية لبرامج الدراسات العليا بجامعة الملك خالد في ضوء معايير الاعتماد البرامجي من خلال التعرف إلى درجة تحقق القدرة التنافسية لبرامج الدراسات العليا، وتحديد أبرز متطلبات تحسينها، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي، والاستبانة كأداة لجمع المعلومات، والتي طبقت على عينة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بلغ تعدادها (310) وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن تحقق القدرة التنافسية لبرامج الدراسات العليا بجامعة الملك جاءت بشكل عام بدرجة متوسطة، حيث جاء مجال البيئة التعليمة والأكاديمية في المرتبة الأولى بدرجة تحقق مرتفعة وبمتوسط حسابي (2,39)  والإدارة وضمان الجودة في المرتبة الثانية بدرجة تحقق مرتفعة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.35) ومجال التعليم والتعلم في المرتبة الثالثة بدرجة تحقق متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.28)، في حين جاء مجال البحث العلمي في المرتبة الرابعة بدرجة متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.27) وجاء مجال الموارد البشرية في المرتبة الخامسة بدرجة تحقق متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (2.24) بينما جاء مجال الشراكة المجتمعية في المرتبة الأخيرة بدرجة تحقق متوسطة، بمتوسط حسابي (222,)، في حين أظهرت النتائج موافقة أفراد الدراسة على متطلبات تحسين القدرة التنافسية بدرجة مرتفعة. وأوصت الدراسة بتنفيذ الاستراتيجية المقترحة لتحسين القدرة التنافسية لبرامج الدراسات العليا بجامعة الملك خالد، ووضع سياسات لجذب الطلاب الدوليين المتميزين، وتحديث المناهج الدراسية بما يتواكب مع التطورات، وإنشاء حاضنات بحثية لتنبني الأفكار الإبداعية للطلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس، وعقد اتفاقيات مع برامج مماثلة رائدة في مجال التخصص.

Abstract:

The study aimed to present a proposed strategy to improve the competitiveness of graduate programs at King Khalid University in the light of program accreditation standards by identifying the degree to which the competitiveness of graduate programs has been achieved, and identifying the most important requirements for their improvement.The study used the descriptive survey method, and the questionnaire as a tool for collecting information, which was applied to a sample of (310) faculty members. The results of the study showed that the achievement of the competitiveness of graduate studies programs at King University in general came to a medium degree, where the field of educational and academic environment came in the first place with a high degree of Achievement with a mean of (2.39), and management and quality assurance came in the second place with a high degree of achievement, with a mean of (2.35) The field of teaching and learning ranked third with a medium degree of achievement, with a mean of (2.28), while the field of scientific research came in the fourth rank with a medium degree, with a mean of (2.27). The field of human resources came in the fifth rank with a medium degree of achievement, with a mean of (2.24), while the field of human community partnership came in the last rank with a medium degree of achievement, with a mean of (2,22), while the results showed the approval of the study members on the requirements of improving competitiveness to a high degree. The study recommended implementing the proposed strategy to improve the competitiveness of graduate programs at King Khalid University, setting policies to attract distinguished international students, updating curricula in line with developments, establishing research incubators to adopt creative ideas for students and faculty members, and making agreements with similar programs leading in the field of specialization.
