الملخص:
هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن دور التفاعلات الثقافية في تشكيل الهوية الوطنية لدى الشباب بالمجتمع الكويتي، واستخدمت المنهج الوصفي مع الاعتماد على الاستبانة في جمع البيانات، وطبقت على عينة بلغت (648) من طلاب الهيئة العامة للتعليم التطبيقي، وأشارت النتائج إلى أن واقع التأثيرات السلبية للتفاعلات الثقافية على الهوية الوطنية جاء مرتفعاً، وأن واقع التأثيرات الإيجابية للتفاعلات الثقافية على الهوية الوطنية جاء منخفضاً، كما أشارت النتائج لعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في استجابات أفراد عينتها تعزى لمتغير النوع، بينما توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً في استجاباتهم تعزى لمتغير الفرقة الدراسية لصالح طلاب وطالبات الفرقة الرابعة مقارنة بطلاب وطالبات الفرقة الأولى، وأشارت النتائج أيضاً لعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في استجابات أفراد عينتها تعزى لمتغير الكلية. وفي ضوء ما توصلت إليه الدراسة من نتائج فإن أبرز التوصيات ما يلي: تضمين موضوع التفاعلات الثقافية ضمن بعض المقررات الدراسية لطلاب الجامعة بحيث يتم توعيتهم به وأبرز تأثيراته الإيجابية والسلبية وكيفية الاستفادة من الإيجابيات وتلاشي السلبيات بحيث تتم الاستفادة من الآخر المختلف ثقافية دون الذوبان في ثقافته. تخصيص برامج إعلامية لتوعية أفراد المجتمع عامة والشباب خاصة بكيفية التعامل الإيجابي مع التفاعلات الثقافية.

The Role of Cultural Interactions in Shaping National Identity among Youth in Kuwaiti Society

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to examine the role of cultural interactions in shaping the national identity of youth in Kuwaiti society. A descriptive methodology was adopted, using a questionnaire for data collection. The sample consisted of 648 university students. The results revealed that the negative effects of cultural interactions on national identity were significant, while the positive effects were minimal. Moreover, there were no statistically significant differences in responses based on gender. However, there were statistically significant differences based on academic year, with fourth-year students showing a greater awareness of the impact of cultural interactions compared to first-year students. The study also found no statistically significant differences based on college affiliation. In light of the findings, the study recommended the inclusion of cultural interaction topics in some university courses to raise awareness about its positive and negative impacts. This would help students capitalize on the positive aspects and avoid the negative ones, allowing them to benefit from cultural diversity without losing their own identity. Additionally, it suggested dedicating media programs to educating the broader society, particularly the youth, on how to engage positively with cultural interactions.
