سعت الدراسة إلى التعرف على متطلبات تحقيق بيئة داعمة للتميز المؤسسي بمدارس المرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت والوقوف على معوقات تحقيق التميز المؤسسي ومتطلبات التغلب على تلك المعوقات، ووظفت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي  للتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، مستخدمة استبانة تم توزيعها على مدراء المدارس والمدراء المساعدين بمدارس المرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت، وبعد التأكد من صدقها وثباتها تم تطبيقها على عينة قوامها (148) مدير ومدير مساعد، وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أهمية تحقيق بيئة داعمة للتميز المؤسسي داخل مدارس المرحلة المتوسطة مما ينعكس بالإيجاب على سير العملية التعليمية ، كما اوصت بضرورة لتحقيق بيئة مؤسسية داعمة للتميز، يجب التركيز على بناء ثقافة تعزز الابتكار والإبداع، وتوفير بيئة عمل محفزة ومرنة، والاستثمار في تطوير الكوادر البشرية، وتبني أساليب قيادة تحفز على تحقيق الأهداف، كما يجب أن تتبنى المؤسسة نظمًا فعالة لتقييم الأداء والمكافآت، وتشجيع التعاون والتواصل بين مختلف الأقسام، والعمل على تحسين العمليات باستمرار داخل مدارس المرحلة المتوسطة وخلصت الدراسة بتقديم تصور مقترح لتحقيق بيئة داعمة للتميز المؤسسي داخل مدارس المرحلة المتوسطة بدولة الكويت

Abstract
The study aimed to identify the requirements for creating a supportive environment for institutional excellence in middle schools in Kuwait, as well as to understand the obstacles to achieving institutional excellence and the requirements to overcome these obstacles. The study employed a descriptive approach to achieve its objectives, using a questionnaire distributed to school principals and assistant principals in middle schools in Kuwait. After ensuring its validity and reliability, the questionnaire was applied to a sample of 148 principals and assistant principals. The study results highlighted the importance of creating a supportive environment for institutional excellence within middle schools, which positively impacts the educational process. The study also recommended that to achieve a supportive institutional environment for excellence, it is necessary to focus on building a culture that promotes innovation and creativity, providing a stimulating and flexible work environment, investing in human capital development, and adopting leadership styles that motivate the achievement of goals. Additionally, the institution should adopt effective performance evaluation and reward systems, encourage cooperation and communication between different departments, and work on continuous process improvement within middle schools. The study concluded by presenting a proposed framework for achieving a supportive institutional environment for excellence in middle schools in Kuwait.
