هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن واقع تحقيق الجامعات الفلسطينية بقطاع غزة لمسؤوليتها الاجتماعية، والوقوف على أبعاد المسؤولية الاجتماعية، وتحديات المسؤولية الاجتماعية في الجامعات الفلسطينية، وجهود الجامعات الفلسطينية بمحافظات غزة في خدمة المجتمع،  واستخدمت الباحثة المنهج الوصفي، وأعدت (استبانة) تكونت من (35) فقرة موزعة أربعة أبعاد: (البعد الخيرى، البعد الأخلاقي، البعد القانوني، البعد الاقتصادي). وتكونت عينة الدراسة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس بكلية التربية بالجامعات الفلسطينية بقطاع غزة، وعددهم (123)، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى النتائج التالية:

جاءت درجة موافقة أفراد الدراسة على محاور الدراسة بدرجة (كبيرة).
جاءت أبعاد محور المسؤولية الاجتماعية مرتبة تنازلياً: البعد الاقتصادي، البعد القانوني، البعد الخيري (الإنساني)، البعد الأخلاقي.

Abstract
Study Title: The Reality of Palestinian Universities in the Gaza Strip Fulfilling Their Social Responsibilities
Researcher’s Name: Nedaa Jamal Ahmed Al-Hour                           
The study sought to uncover the reality of Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip achieving social responsibility, as well as to identify the dimensions of social responsibility, the challenges of social responsibility in Palestinian universities, and the efforts of Palestinian universities in Gaza governorates in serving the community.
The researcher employed the descriptive analytical method to create a (questionnaire) with 35 paragraphs divided into four dimensions: (charitable dimension, ethical dimension, legal dimension, and economic dimension. Moreover, the study sample included (123) members of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Education in Palestinian universities in the Gaza Strip, and the following conclusions were attained:
1- The study subjects' level of approval on the study axis was highly (significant).
2- The dimensions of the social responsibility axis were presented in the following descending order: economic dimension, legal dimension, charity (human) dimension, and moral dimension.
