المواقف السياسية للمهاجرين الشوام في البرازيل من قضايا الوطن فيما بين1904-1925م

لم تنقطع صلة المهاجرين الشوام في البرازيل بوطنهم؛ حيث ظلوا على اتصال دائم به، من خلال مراسلة أصدقائهم وأقاربهم، وقراءة صحفه ومتابعة أخباره، والأمور المتصلة بشئونه وأحواله؛ لقد کانوا أکثر اهتمامًا بقضاياه لذلک تشکل لديهم فکر قومي دفعهم لإنشاء جمعيات وأحزاب سياسية تدافع عن حقوق هذا الوطن، ولعل وجودهم في بلدان مستقلة تتمتع بنظم سياسية قائمة على قدر من الديمقراطية، ساعد على نشوء الأفکار الحزبية وتنمية الوعي القومي والروح الوطنية بين المهاجرين الشوام في البرازيل، وتعاطفت البرازيل حکومة وشعبًا تجاه قضية المهاجرين الشوام، وأظهرت حکومة البرازيل تأييدًا للمبادئ الإنسانية للشعوب المستعمرة في ذلک الوقت، وکان لاستقلال البرازيل وما عايشته الجالية الشامية مع الشعب البرازيلي من استعراض انتصاراتهم القومية ومعارکهم الاستقلالية وغنائهم على شهدائهم وقادتهم وعظماءهم في احتفالات أعيادهم الوطنية وعلى رأسها احتفالهم بعيد استقلال  البرازيل المئوي؛ الأثر الأکبر في شعور السوريين باليتم الوطني وزيادة شغفهم بحصول بلادهم على استقلالها الوطني؛ اقتداء بالشعوب والدول التي کافحت للحصول على حريتها.

Abstract.
The Shawam immigrants have never ceased to come into contact with Brazil and their homeland; Where they kept in constant contact with it, by corresponding with their friends and relatives, by reading its newspapers related to its history and conditions; Their presence in independent countries with political systems based on a degree of democracy contributed to the rise of party ideas and to the development of the national consciousness and patriotism among the Levantine immigrants in Brazil. In addition to the empathy of the Brazilian people and government towards the cause of the national Levantine immigrants, the Brazilian government showed support for the humanist principles of the colonial peoples at the time Brazil to showcase their nationalist victories and independence battles and to sing their martyrs, leaders and grandees in celebrations of their national days, chiefly their celebration of the centenary of Brazil's independence day; The greatest impact on Syrians' sense of national orphanhood and their increasing passion for their country's national independence; Imitating the peoples and countries that have fought for their freedom.
